Amy is a passionate educational leader who strives to create vibrant school environments that are nurturing and offer diverse learning opportunities. Having graduated from the University of Leeds in 2009 with a degree in history, followed by a PCGE and a Masters in Educational Leadership, Amy has a thirst for research, knowledge and learning which inspires the teachers, children and families she works with. She has demonstrated exemplary leadership skills through roles in both the UK and UAE settings. Most recently, she was an integral part, as a member of the Founding Team and Vice Principal, of DBS JP’s journey to Outstanding. Through drawing on her experience and expertise, Amy is well-placed to lead DBS Mira on its journey to excellence. Finally, Amy believes whole-heartedly in the value of connectedness and is looking forward to fostering a strong sense of community at DBS Mira and beyond.
